January 26, 1962 - July 11, 2021
Aaron Ernest Friesenhahn, born January 26, 1962 in New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on July 11, 2021. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Junek Friesenhahn; daughter Angela (fiancé Michael Martin); parents Clifford and Marlene Friesenhahn; sisters Gerlyn
Friesenhahn (Mark Long), Colette (Alan) Albers; brothers Kevan (Denise) Friesenhahn, Blaine (Mandee) Friesenhahn; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Aaron graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Aaron began working at Kelly Air Force Base as an Aerospace Engineer where he ultimately became lead engineer for the TF-34 jet engine.
Upon closure of Kelly Air Force Base, Aaron was employed by Science Applications International Corporation.
Aaron enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, gardening, cooking, arrowhead hunting, and woodworking. Aaron took pride and strived for perfection in everything he did. Aaron was a jack of all trades. There was no task that he could not handle. Aaron's greatest
joy was found at the ranch located near Freer, Texas.
Aaron was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, St Michael's Society, and Bracken Bowling Club.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:30PM on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, Texas. The Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00AM on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, Texas. Burial
will take place at Our Lady of Catholic Church Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass. Celebration of Life will be held at Blue Bonnet Palace, 17630 Lookout Rd, Selma, Texas immediately after burial – serving will begin at 12:45PM.
