On Wednesday, May 26, 2021 our family lost a very special man. Bob Bain was a kind person, a friend to all he met and willingly helped any person who needed help. He loved his family and his wife of 61 years dearly. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Durham officiating. He was born in Luling, Texas, August 2, 1937 to Eldridge and Bess Bain. He graduated Luling High School class of 1956 and played football for the Luling Eagles. He attended Texas A&M and had a lifelong passion for supporting his Texas Aggies.

In 1960 Bob met Lynda and they knew they wanted to spend their lives together forever and they did for the next 61 years. They had 3 children during their marriage. Bob worked for Lind Paper Company for 23 years then in 1982 with his wife Lynda, started his own business, Bain Paper and Janitorial Supply Company. Bob and Lynda retired in 1999 leaving their two sons to take over the company. Bob was a member of the Waco Civitan Club. They travelled with the Good Sams Motor Home group where many good friends were made. Bob loved the Lord and loved spending time learning his Bible well.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Lynda, their 3 children and spouses, Bobby & Susan Bain, Brent '89 & Melle Bain, Becky & Jim Duffy. The family wants to thank Dr. Talukdar, Hillcrest Cancer Center, The Arbor House Memory Care Staff, Bluebonnet Hospice and all our many friends who were there to pray, love and care for Bob.

Bob loved his Aggies, a good cup of coffee with a lot of sugar, Old Westerns, a good conversation, traveling in the motor home, Mexican food, a good pair of boots, high school friendships and Luling sausage.
