Stephen Gray Moore was born March 24, 1926, in Dunedin Florida, passed away on June 5, 2021. His first career was as a pilot in the Air Force. He flew B47’s until he retired as a Major from service in September 1966. He began his next career as a mechanical engineer in Tampa, FL. After retirement he began doing taxes for enlisted military and their families at MacDill Air Force base in Tampa, FL. He enjoyed travel, learning, fine dining and spinning a good story of his experiences in the service with family and friends. He loved slapstick comedy, especially the Pink Panther movies. He was a proud graduate of Texas A&M and an Aggie to the core.

He was a good man, husband, and father. He was predeceased by his first wife of 61 years, Clara “Boots” Moore (August 2010), as well as his second wife of 9 years, Bernice S. Jordan (May 2021), and his son Stephen G. Moore, Jr. (September 2016). He is survived by his daughter, Stacy G. Moore (Inga Ivey). He will be missed.
