Manuel "Manny" LaFont
January 27, 1967 - June 24, 2021

In lieu of floral arrangements, the family has requested friends and family to send a donation to St. Patrick Catholic Church and School. All donations, floral arrangements, and words of comfort is greatly appreciated.

Manuel was the life of the party and he touched so many people's lives.

Manuel grew up in Houston before moving to South Florida. He owned condo No. 801 and was hailed as a devoted father, a coach and a business consultant.

He was a student at Texas A&M and worked towards a degree in general studies from the College of Business.

He had two children — Mia, 13, and Santi, 10 — with his ex-wife Adriana LaFont.

Manny could often be found on the baseball diamond, playing with his son, whose team — The Astros at North Shore Park — he coached. Together, they shared a passion for the game. He told Adriana he planned to take Santi fishing soon.

Manny worked at Lindsay Transportation Solutions, where he led a roadway safety division. He also was a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Miami Beach.

He could be found dancing, he was an amazing guy who made so many people laugh.
