Kenneth Bryan Noakes
July 31, 1965 - June 21, 2021

Kenneth Bryan Noakes, 55 years old, of Kingwood, TX went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born on July 31, 1965 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Joseph and Audrey Noakes and grew up with his two sisters, Susan and Wendy. He was a graduate of Eisenhower High School in 1983 and received his bachelor’s in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University in 1987. In College Station, he met his soon-to-be wife of 30 years, Colleen, while working at Bennigan’s Restaurant. Ken and Colleen married on October 6, 1990 and raised 3 boys together. In 1996, they welcomed twin boys Kyle Jacob and Connor Joseph and then added Cameron Reese to the team in 2001. After college, Ken went on to build a career serving in various roles throughout the chemical, rail, and transportation industries. Throughout his time in these industries, he made many lasting friendships and enjoyed his career and colleagues. Ken was an avid golfer and loved to cook and entertain. He loved cooking for family and friends and always insisted that the boy’s friends join us around the dinner table. He also loved to keep the bird feeders full and enjoyed social time around the pool in the backyard. Ken’s greatest joy was spending time with his kids. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball, spending long Saturdays at the swim meets, attending numerous band concerts, baseball games, and football games in support of his boys. He loved going to church for worship and had a strong faith in God that has sustained him throughout his life.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his mom, Audrey Noakes. He is survived by his 3 boys, Connor Noakes, Kyle Noakes, and Cameron Noakes, his father Joseph Noakes, his sister Susan Vento and her husband Bryan Vento, his nephews Brandon and Coulton Vento, his sister Wendy Turner and her husband Clark Turner, his nephew Casey Turner, and a host of other relatives and many close friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, TX from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park North, in Porter, TX.
