Steven Albert Offenhauser
January 12, 1946 – May 15, 2021

Steven Albert Offenhauser was born in Alhambra, California on January 12, 1946. He attended Texas A&M University before joining the United States Army. Steven was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army Special Forces as 1st Lieutenant and was awarded a Bronze Star. Steven passed peacefully on May 15, 2021.

Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Helen Offenhauser.

He is survived by his wife Colleen Offenhauser of 33 years; 2 daughters, Sheri Offenhauser and husband Joshua Driscoll, and Rachel Harless and husband Robert Harless; the family's faithful dog, Malley; 4 grandchildren, Austin Harless, Daxton Mitchell Offenhauser-Driscoll, Hannah Driscoll, and Berlyn Driscoll; father, George W. Offenhauser, Sr.; sisters, Rosalie Murphy and husband Dr. Vance Murphy and Lynette Offenhauser; brother George W. "Pete" Offenhauser, Jr.; many nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family at 10:00 A.M., with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M., on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546, (281) 992-7200. He will laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
