Guy Wilkins "Skip" Leflar III
November 16, 1946 - June 29, 2020
Skip Leflar, Class of '69, died June 29, 2020, ending his battle with Alzheimer's.
He was the son of Guy W. Leflar II, Class of '49, and father of Christy L. Coats, Class of '95. He supported "his" team from the second deck, 20 yard line of Kyle Field for over 45 years.
An Aggie first, Guy was also an accomplished sailor, an avid golfer, and never passed an opportunity to learn. As co-founder of Emergent Systems, an organization development company, he assisted corporations in identifying and maintaining their purpose.
Guy is survived by his wife, Debbie, his daughter, Christy Coats, and his sister, Virginia Isbell.
