Carl Alvin Newman
April 26, 1917 - June, 1976
Carl Alvin Newman, 59, 1414 Magnolia, Tyler, died Thursday afternoon at his home after a suden illness. Funeral services are pending with Lloyd James Funeral Home.
He was a native of Caldwell, a 30-year Tyler resident, and accountant, and a World War II veteran. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Martha of Tyler; one daughter Debra of Tyler; and four sisters, Delia King, Viola Mitchell, Millie Carroll, and Alice Newman.
