Frank Edward Herbert Sr.
November 11, 1933 - October 6, 2020 (age 86)
Frank was born to Ira E Herbert and Vera Wickland Herbert in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico on November 11, 1933. He died peacefully at his home at Ridgmar Place, Ft. Worth, TX on Monday, October 6, 2020.
Frank was a 1972 Graduate of Texas A&M, and spent the next 40 years working at the local, county and state levels across Texas as a Professional Engineer, focusing much of his profession in construction materials testing, taking humble pride in any project
he worked on. He was known throughout Texas as a man whose generosity and kindness were only outmatched by his integrity.
He was a Life Member of Texas A&M University, Texas Society of Professional Engineers and a proud Korean War era Army Veteran
He is survived by his widow, Evelyn Taft Herbert, his son Frank Jr., wife Julie with granddaughter, Madeline Herbert , his daughter, Melinda Herbert Lowrey, with his grandson, John, wife Ashley and two great grandsons, and many Foster Children.
