Bailey Cole Gully, age 22 of College Station, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 in College Station. He was born on June 24, 1998 in Beaumont, Texas to Kyle and Christi Gully.

Bailey was a student of Texas A&M University and Sam Houston State University. He attended Grace Bible Church - Anderson Campus in College Station, was a member of the “Just Friends” Bible Study Class and the Beta Upsilon Chi (BYX) Fraternity where he met some amazing Christians who became his extended family while in college. Bailey was a 2016 graduate of Mineola High School where he was a proud member of the state playoff Mineola Yellowjacket Football Team.

Bailey was an amazing son, brother, grandchild and friend. He truly followed Christ in every step of his life. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of six on the school playground and has never wavered from his walk with the Lord. Bay Bay, as we called him, was never afraid to share his faith with a stranger. He was the most gentle of spirits and would fill any room with his amazing smile everywhere he went. His love for others was one of his outstanding characteristics that he blessed many with. Anytime a need arose, he would readily forget self to help others. He enjoyed skiing, sports, family time, a big bear hug and a good hot cooked meal. Bailey who was so loved, will be missed by many.

Bailey is survived by his parents, Dr. Kyle and Christi Gully of Mineola; brother, Brady Gully of Huntsville; grandparents, J.W. and Zelda Gully of College Station and Wayne LaPointe of Houston; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Stacy Gully, John and Bridget Fry, Roy and Patricia LaPointe, Bob and Cissy Clearo and Joel LaPointe along with numerous cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at First Baptist Church - Mineola 204 N. Johnson St. Mineola, Texas 75773 at 10:30 am, Rev. Phillip Casper, Kendall Banks and Dr. Mark Neeley conducting, interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Mineola, with Brady Gully, Austin Anderson, Jackson Anderson, Riley Anderson, Jared Graves, Andrew Owens, Jacob Smiley, and Canon Wehmeyer serving as pallbearers.
