Adam Bob Jr.
OCTOBER 30, 1967 – JULY 16, 2019
Adam Bob, Jr. was born on October 30, 1967, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the second child of Adam Bob, Sr and Pamella Bob’s three children. The family relocated to Lafayette, Louisiana during his primary school years and where Adam graduated from Northside
High School in 1985. It was at Northside where Adam became a standout athlete, achieving State records and accolades in wrestling and football, much so to some, legendary status.
After graduating high school, Adam attended Texas A & M University in College Station, TX where he studied sociology and achieved numerous honors by leaving his all on the Aggie football field as a linebacker. Adam received MVP during the 1988 Cotton Bowl Classic.
And it was because of his hard work and performance, he was drafted to the NFL’s New York Jets in 1989. Adam went on to play World League Football with the Montreal Machine in Montreal Canada after his tenure in the NFL.
After a rewarding football career, Adam went on to become a successful operations manager for a national logistics company where he mentored and inspired many. Adam united in holy matrimony with Runzia Vurshia Moore on December 23, 1995. This union brought
forth three daughters, Adamia, Hailey, and Tiffani, and one son, Addison. Adam truly loved his family and dotted on his children. One his proudest moments was his oldest daughter’s graduation from his beloved Texas A & M University in May 2019, in which he
was able to attend in spite of his illness. As such, one of his biggest regrets is not seeing the other three children graduate from their perspective colleges they are attending. But they know he will be there in spirit with the best seat in the house.
Adam was very involved with the children’s sports activities, from little league football, basketball, volleyball, track and cheer to ballet recitals and dance competitions. He even coached little league football for several years. Being the sports enthusiast
he was, he always tried to make every game and recital the kids had, home or away.
Adam was fortunate to have great and loyal friends, in every phase of his life. People were easily drawn to him and his kind, humble and honest spirit…and his BBQs. Adam never met a stranger. Adam dedicated his life to Christ at Antioch Fellowship Missionary
Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Left to cherish his love, wisdom, and memories are his wife of 23 years, Runzia Vurshia Bob; three daughters, Adamia Noel Bob, Hailey Argene’ Bob, and Tiffani Armani Bob; one son, Addison Jacoby Bob; his mother, Pamella Noel Bob (late Adam Bob, Sr); two siblings,
Mary Grace (Sidney) Massey and Brenda Lee Angelle and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
