Jack Ray Matthews, age 84, of Texarkana, TX, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Cornerstone Retirement Community. Jack was born in Claredon, TX, volunteered at St. Michael’s Hospital, and was a Marine.
Jack is survived by his wife, Gloria Matthews; children, Lisa and Pam; step-children Bill, Pam, Polly and Priscilla; sisters, Lucy Dishongh and Mary Bowser, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at First Baptist Church Atrium with Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Services will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Online registration is at www.texarkanafuneralhome.com
