Kathleen "Kathy" A. Roady
November 23, 1958 - April 03, 2021
Kathleen Ann Roady (nee Locke) (age 62) of Leander, TX passed away on April 3rd, 2021 after a lengthy illness.
Kathy was born November 23rd, 1958 in Victorville, CA when her father was stationed at nearby George AFB. Kathy was a 1976 honor graduate of Holmes High School in San Antonio where she was also a varsity volleyball player.
She went on to earn a B.S. in geology from UTSA and then both an M.S. (1983) and PhD (1995) from Texas A&M - where she met her future husband Kenny Roady. She will be remembered for her intelligence, her love of dogs and of all things “Star Trek.”
She is survived by her husband Kenny, her mother Margery Locke, and her brother Lt Col (USAF ret.) Bob Locke ’78. She is preceded in passing by her father, Colonel (USAF ret.) James R. Locke and her brother Donald Locke.
