January 28, 1971 - March 23, 2021

On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, Jeffrey Wayne Goulden, loving son, brother, and uncle to 13 nieces and nephews, passed away at the age of 50.

Jeff was born on January 28, 1971 in Edison, NJ to John and Elizabeth (Lucas) Goulden. In the 4th grade, Jeff moved with his family to Kingwood, TX were he went to Bear Branch Elementary, Kingwood Middle School, and Graduated from Kingwood High School in 1989. He went on to Texas A & M where he received a degree in Geography and forever became a “Fighting Aggie”. Jeffery worked mapping the United States developing GPS systems. He later found his passion and love for the youth by becoming a special education paraprofessional at Groves Elementary.

Jeff was a family man who loved being a son, a brother, and an uncle. He enjoyed spending time spoiling his nieces and nephews as well as spending time celebrating events with family and friends. Jeff had a passion for cars and would spend countless hours walking around various car shows looking at the new models. He loved to dress up and lived for dress up days at school where he would go all out dressing like a taco, a zookeepers , and military man. He loved to make others laugh and would make any stranger a friend within minutes. He was known by his students as Mr. G but many of them saw him as Uncle Jeff.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father John, grandparents Jack and Marie Lucas, as well as grandparents James and Matilda Goulden. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Goulden, siblings Chris Goulden, James Goulden, Paul Goulden, Phillip Goulden, Glenn Goulden, and Mary Goulden. As well as sister in laws Linda Goulden, Jan Goulden, and brother in law DX. Sengele. He is also survived by the nieces and nephews he adored, Kathleen Ohe, Jillian Goulden, Sean Goulden, Cameron Goulden, Brian Brady- Goulden, Ian Brady- Goulden, Kaitlyn Goulden, Patrick Goulden, Liam Goulden, Savannah Goulden, DX (Five) Sengele, Rebekah Sengele, and Caroline Sengele.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 29th 2021, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, at Darst Funeral home 796 Russell Palmer Rd, Kingwood, TX 77339, and a Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 30th 2021 at 2:00pm at St. Martha’s Catholic Church 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Porter, TX 77365. Flowers may be sent to Darst Funeral home and donations can be made in Jeff’s name to Groves Elementary School’s Annual fund.
