Russell Marcus Eaton
November 4, 1956 - February 20, 2021
Russell Marcus Eaton, 64, passed away suddenly on February 20, 2021. Although unexpected, Russell was surrounded by family, who were able to be with him as he passed on to the next part of his journey with God.
In spite of being gone from this world far too soon, Russell lived a long and fulfilling life that many would aspire to. Born in France and raised by an Air Force father and loving mother, Russell eventually graduated high school in Houston and attended Texas A&M as a proud member of the Aggie Corp of Cadets, where he was a member of the esteemed Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. He then became an early employee of the Compaq corporation, before pursuing his dream career as a financial advisor.
After having four children of his own, he was able to be surrounded later in life by eight grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He was a guiding force to his children, full of wisdom; always a bastion for advice or help, without judgment. One could not ask for a more amazing father and friend.
In retirement, he was able to live the way he wanted. He had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, making many cross country tours with friends. He spent much of his time with his children and grandchildren, and was able to fulfill lifelong dreams attending a game at Lambeau Field and seeing the Baseball Hall of Fame. He had great pride in watching two children become esteemed college athletes, one child attend and graduate from his alma mater, and another child pursue a successful law career.
It has been fulfilling to his loved ones that so many who learned of his passing spoke of how much he would regale others of his love for his family. Outspoken in nature, it has been a pleasure and comfort for his family to be told of his witty humor and happy and content enthusiasm for life. It’s with heartfelt remembrance and comfort that those who love him, although mourning his passing, understand their relationship with him, and know how much he cared for them.
He is survived by his mother, Ada Eaton, brother, William Eaton, four children, and eight grandchildren. It is not goodbye, it is see you later.
