John Carlton Petteway Jr.
January 29, 1931 - August 26, 2019
John C. Petteway Jr. of Houston, Texas passed away on August 26, 2019.
John was a graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering. He was a member of the Class of 1952 and was also a member of the Corps of Cadets.
He served in Korea as a tank commander from 1952 to 1954 attaining the rank of Captain, US Army. After the war he pursued a lifelong career in oil and gas that spanned dozens of countries around the globe, before settling in retirement in Dallas Texas.
He is survived by his two sons, who both attended Texas A&M.
