Charles Edward Fox
1935 - 2021

Charles Edward Fox passed away at the age of 85 in San Antonio, TX on January 24, 2021. He was born on February 24, 1935 in Stephenville, TX to Lige and Norma Fox.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: James, Bill and Sam.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years: Jeanette Fox; children: Diane Fox Klein (Reese), Martin Fox '84 (Norma), Tobin Fox (Cheryl), Shari O'Brien (Larry), Suzie Verdon (Devin); grandchildren: Alexa Fox, Terrance More, Jalen More, Jack Fox, Ben Fox, Julia Hogan, Maude O'Brien, Ruby O'Brien, great-grandchild: Addy Rhett.

Charles was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He graduated from Texas A&M and was proud to be an Aggie. He joined the United States Air Force soon after graduation. After serving his country, he went to work for HP Fowler Contracting in Pharr, TX. After only a few years, Charles bought the company, which he ran until he retired.

He loved to fish and hunt, was a fantastic cook and appreciated great wine. Charles will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private family graveside will take place on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwood Presbyterian Church in his name.
