Katrina Marie Marx
August 18, 1972 - January 11, 2021

Katrina Marie Marx was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 11th, 2021 at the age of 48.

Katrina is survived by her parents, R.D. (Don) and Rosalie; husband, Nathan; children, Taylor, RaeLynn, and Jonathan; brother, Aaron; her mother-in-law Carol; her sisters-in-law Linda, Katrina, and Loretta; and brother-in-law Jason. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Kenneth.

Katrina was born on August 18th in Houston, TX to R.D. (Don) and Rosalie. She graduated from Lutheran High North in 1990 and from Texas A&M University in 1994 with a degree in Economics and was married to Nathan, her high school sweetheart, in 1995. They settled in the The Woodlands area and over next 7 years, the couple welcomed three exceptional children into their home. Katrina devoted herself to teaching of them how to emulate God’s character through love, kindness, and selflessness. Katrina poured herself into each child and helped them grow their God given talents. Her children remember her as a unparalleled mother who set the standard of adoration for all who cross their paths. She built a legacy that will stand strong and mighty throughout the generations.

Katrina was a remarkably driven and hardworking individual, with successful careers in Buisness Management and Real Estate. She was not only the glue that held her family together; but Katrina also was a dependable individual that her colleagues would rely on for exceptional management and complete dedication. She was a lively woman who had a passion for friendship and celebration, with a special affinity for music, dancing, and travel. She lit up any room that she entered. Katrina was an active and dedicated member of Trinity Klein Church and poured her heart into the STARS ministry. She also dedicated her time to roles and organizations which allowed her to stay connected and support the passions of her children, such as serving as music manager for Taylor Renee Marx, president of Montgomery Co Aggie Moms Club, president of Texas A&M Alpha Delta Pi sorority parents club, and team mom and loudest cheerleader for Trinity & Concordia soccer & basketball teams. She was known by the youth in all these organizations as “momma Marx”.

Katrina’s Visitation will be on Monday, January 18th from 5-8 PM at Klein Funeral Home, and her Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 19th at Trinity Klein Church. Pastor Chris Singer will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Katrina's life.
