Floyd Clifton Trim
July 4, 1933 - April 28, 2020
Floyd Clifton Trim of Dallas, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the age of 86.
Floyd enrolled at Texas A&M in 1951 and received a degree in Accounting graduating with the Class of 1955. He was a 1st Lieutenant for "A" Quartermaster Company in the Corps of Cadets. He resided in Leonard, Whitely, Utay, and Milner Hall while at A&M. He also
participated in Accounting Society, San Antonio Hometown Club, DMS, Class Dance Committee, and was the Business Manager for the 1955 Aggieland Yearbook.
He left A&M as a commissioned officer and joined the US Army. He left as a Sergeant. He went on to become a Divisional Vice President for EDS, where he eventually retired from.
He met Ruth Chaddick and on August 20, 1955, Floyd and Ruth married. They remained happily married until Ruth passed in 2013.
Floyd is predeceased by his parents, and his wife Ruth, and son Gregory.
He is survived by his daughter Sarah Trim Byrom '82 and husband, Peter of Dallas, son Calvin Trim and wife Susan of Plano and son, Stephen Trim and wife Cindy of Plano. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Stephen Chaddick Trim, Catherine Calvert Trim,
Victoria Sarah Byrom and Elizabeth Grace Byrom.
