Arturo Samuel Saldana
JULY 7, 1950 – JANUARY 10, 2021

Arturo Samuel Saldana of Coppell, Texas, passed away at the age of 70 on Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. Services are pending at this time.

Arturo was active while at Texas A&M University. He was a member of the Corps of Cadets in Company I-1, Squadron 11, and Ross Volunteer Company. He participated in MSC SCONA, and MSC Town Hall. He was also a member of the Texas A&M Men's Rugby Club.

He received a degree in Political Science and was a member of the Class of 1972. He was a member of the US Army. He previously worked for Heli-Dyne Systems, Inc., ASA Trading Company, and UniFlight.

He is survived by his wife Karen, children, Rebecca Gaffney '04 (Jason) and Rachel Saldana '00, brother Abel Saldana '77 (Margaret), niece Vivian Saldana '00 and nephew Daniel Saldana '96 (Margaret), aunt Sarah Saldana '06, and cousins CAPT Troy Marceleno '60 and Dr. Sonya Saldana '83.

He is predeceased by his uncle Arthur Saldana '52

He was a resident of Coppell, TX at the time of passing.
