Brigid Marie Davis
October 21, 1962 - May 12, 2020

Brigid Marie Davis of Conroe, Texas passed away on May 12, 2020 at the age of 57. She was born on October 21, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to parents John and Frances Davis.

Brigid grew up in Beaumont, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984 with a double major in Accounting and Finance and later graduated Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law with a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Laws in tax.

She traveled extensively in her work in oil and gas tax with Unocal. In her career, she worked for Ernst & Young, Jones Day, Koch Industries and taught legal writing at Texas Wesleyan Law School, now Texas A&M University School of Law. She also gave legal writing seminars in Taiwan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances Davis, nephew Benjamin Davis and brother in law John Pena.

She is survived by siblings Gretchen Fasulo and husband John, Teresa Hurd and husband Michael, Jane Davis, Colette Pena, Molly Davis and wife Jamie, John Davis and wife Jane-Marie and Stephen Davis and wife Shelly. Brigid is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.

Brigid was active in her Catholic parishes over the years, through CRHP and ACTS. She had a close group of friends in both Coppell and The Woodlands, that she loved and relied upon in the difficult times.

Brigid worked raising money and awareness for advanced breast cancer research and for a future clinic for metastatic cancer treatment. Brigid was a generous person who gave much of her time to her parents in the end stages of their lives. She was extremely dedicated to her family and friends and took being a godmother seriously.

She tirelessly fought cancer for 4 ½ years while educating herself on the cancer battle and taking an active part in decisions for her treatments. She was energetically making plans for the future until the end.

Rosary, 7:00 PM Monday, May 18 at Beck Funeral Home, 4765 Priem Road, Pflugerville, TX

Funeral Mass, 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 19 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 E. University Ave, Georgetown, TX 78626

Burial immediately following Mass at Our Lady of The Rosary Cemetery, 330 Berry Lane, Georgetown, TX
