A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Rebecca Ann “Becca” Collins’ life will be 3:00pm- 5:00pm, Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas.

Becca Collins, age 25, passed away at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Born at Fort Carson, Colorado and longtime Jasper, Texas resident, Becca traveled and lived in many places with her Military family. A 2013 graduate of Jasper High School, she was Senior Class President, an honor student, cheerleader, soccer player and cross country track runner. She attended Texas A&M University and was Class of 2017. She graduated from A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

She loved children, cats, laughing and making others laugh. Her contagious smile would light up a room. Her unselfishness and love for others led her to become an organ donor. By donating her organs, she will have saved and touched many people’s lives.

Becca is survived by her parents, Robert “Buck” Collins and Kim Collins of Jasper, Texas; her sister, Allison Collins ('15) of College Station, Texas; grandparents, Glenda Shirley Clark of Burkeville, Texas and Willard F. and Esther Collins of Wisconsin.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Basil Clark, Sr.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials in Becca Collins’ name be made to Active Minds. Donations may be made online at activeminds.org. When donating, please dedicate your donation to “In Memory of Becca Collins” and enter following email address in the recipient email as kimcollins1985@yahoo.com so the family will be informed of your thoughts, prayers and generosity.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
