Jarrod Cooper Glenn
October 04, 1997 - December 11, 2020

Jarrod Cooper Glenn, a Leander native and engineering student at Texas A&M, died December 11, 2020 in College Station. He was 23.

Born in Austin on October 4, 1997, Jarrod grew up in Leander and had an active childhood all over Williamson County, where he played youth sports and attended Hill Country Bible Church with his family. He graduated in 2016 from Rouse High School, where he played varsity baseball for four years. 

He loved all things Texas A&M, especially Aggie football, and joined the Class of 2020 in College Station after high school. He majored in Electrical Engineering and enjoyed playing intramural sports with his brother, cousins and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Mark and Lisa Glenn; his older sister, Jordan; his younger brother, Jackson; his maternal grandparents, Mickey and Nancy Batsell; his paternal grandmother, Mary Glenn; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, S.D. Glenn.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, at Hill Country Bible Church, North Auditorium, 12124 Ranch Rd. 620 N., Austin. Jarrod will be honored by Texas A&M at the Silver Taps Ceremony at 10:30 p.m. on February 2, 2021. He also will be remembered on campus and by the Williamson County Aggie Club at Muster on April 21, 2021.
