Denise Bilnoski Caskey
February 24, 1983 - November 07, 2020

Denise Bilnoski Caskey entered the loving arms of her Lord, on Saturday, November 7, 2020, surrounded by family.

Denise was born in Houston, Texas on February 24, 1983, to Diane and Charles Bilnoski. She grew up in Oak Forest, graduated from Waltrip High School in 2001, and participated in many sports and activities. After graduation, Denise attended Texas A&M University and was a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2005. She graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. She then attended The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston earning a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2009. Denise began her work in Occupational Therapy at UTMB in the NICU, where she worked for many years. The babies she treated touched her life and brought her great joy. Denise’s infectious smile, kindness, thoughtfulness, and ever-present joy resulted in many friendships during her lifetime and she treasured each one dearly.

Denise married the love of her life, Glenn Caskey, on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Galveston, TX. On August 8, 2012, they welcomed their first-born daughter, Kaitlynn. A few years later, on March 28, 2016, they completed their family by welcoming their daughter, Sadie. Kaitlynn and Sadie were Denise’s pride and joy and she “loves them to the moon and back”.

Five years ago, the family moved to Liberty Hill, Texas, where she resided until her death. In typical Denise fashion, she became active in the community and made many friends very quickly. She loved to craft with friends and always made things that were reflective of her love of her faith, home, and family.

Denise is survived by her loving husband, Glenn and their daughters, Kaitlynn, and Sadie, of Liberty Hill. She also leaves behind her mother, Diane Bilnoski; brother, Patrick Bilnoski and wife, Marcy; sister, Laura Charbonneau Howlett and husband, Kieran; niece and nephew, Grace and Sean Howlett; maternal Grandmother, Vivian “MiMi” Kasmiroski; and five Godchildren, Claire, Grace, Kate, Luca, and Sean. Her Mother and Father-In-Law, Mary Sue and Dan Caskey, will miss their daughter dearly. Denise is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Bilnoski, her paternal Grandparents, Dorothy and Pete Bilnoski, maternal Grandfather, Gerald Kasmoriski, and other family members that she loved and that loved her.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the following:

Happy Trails Learning Center, 14865 TX-29 Liberty Hill, Texas 78642
Happy Trails loves Denise, Glenn, and their girls like family and stood beside them during this difficult fight with cancer. This school is full of love and it shows. Donations in Denise’s honor will help continue their love for families and the community.

University of Texas Medical Branch, NICU Occupational Therapy and mail to Glenn’s attention at 165 Tristen Cove, Liberty Hill Texas 78642
The family would like to express their gratitude and sincere thanks to all that have given their love, support, and have prayed for them over the past 19 months of this journey. As Denise always said, “Choose Joy!” Her subtle grace, infectious smile, faith in God, and love for all will be missed dearly.
