January 02, 1977 - October 22, 2020

Tiffany Lynn Huey, 43, passed away in Greenville, Texas on Thursday, October 22, 2020. She was the second child and only daughter born to the parentage of Billy Wayne, Sr. and Vickie Lynn Huey in Greenville, Texas on January 2, 1977. She received her formal education in the Greenville Independent School District, graduating from Greenville High School in 1995 with honors. While in high school, she was voted Class Favorite for four years, Homecoming Queen, Flaming Flash Drill Team member, served on the year book staff and on the Student Council. After graduation, she attended Texas A & M University, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 1999.

Tiffany returned to Greenville and worked as a substitute teacher for Greenville Intermediate School, which ignited her passion to teach. She received her teacher certification from Texas A & M University in Commerce and began her career as a committed and knowledgeable educator. In 2011, she received the Secondary Teacher of the Year Award for Greenville Independent School District. She joined the Wylie Independent School District in 2014, where she continued to educate, motivate and inspire all students to reach their full potential.

Tiffany accepted Christ at a young age and was a faithful and devout life long member of Carter Temple C. M. E. Church. She served the church in many capacities, being the Youth Sunday School Teacher was her favorite.

Tiffany enjoyed and loved family, road trips, shopping, reading and movies. She will always be remembered for her love, kindness, values, sense of humor and overwhelming generosity.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory: parents, Billy Wayne, Sr. and Vickie Lynn Huey; two brothers, Corey Huey and Billy Wayne Huey, Jr. (Valerie); a niece, Jazmin; three nephews, Jamahl, Jalen and Nathaniel; three aunts, Brenda Huey, Kathy Nelson and Debbie Alexander (Tris); four uncles, Melvin Leroy Huey, Elbert Burley, Jr. (Judy), Joe Allen Huey and Eric Burley; a cousin who was like a sister, Annie Nelson; the love of her life, Michael Williams and a host of other relatives, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, Michelle Brown, Becky Tolson and Sharon Denmark.

Funeral Arrangements

Visitation: Cozine and Tarver Funeral, 1608 King Street, Greenville, Texas
Friday, October 30, 2020, 12:00 noon until 8:00 PM

Services: Carter Temple C. M. E. Church, 1404 Marshall Street, Greenville, TX
Saturday, October 31, 2020, 11:00 AM
(Family only)
Interment: Memoryland Memorial Park, 808 West Jack Finney Blvd., Greenville, TX
