Ronald Tracy Billingsley
August 24, 1971 - October 17, 2020

Ronald Tracy Billingsley was born August 24th, 1971 in Memphis Tennessee, to parents Ronald and Elizabeth Ann Billingsley. More often going by his middle name, Tracy, his family moved him to Texas in January of 1985 into their home in Georgetown.

Tracy was very active in Scouting since the age of six, a member of Troop 151, he achieved the highest honor of Eagle Scout during this time. Tracy was also active with high school band playing the trombone. He graduated Georgetown High School in 1989. Afterward, he started college at Texas A&M University, receiving his degree in history in 1993.

Tracy lived and breathed Texas Aggie pride - attending bonfires, baseball games, and often visiting the Dixie Chicken. He was very proud that his attendance at baseball games at Olsen Field was better than any other class attendance. He was an Resident Advisor in Hart Hall dorm.

His first job was at the Candle Factory in Georgetown where he worked for 11 years, where he met his wife and adopted three children, Steven, Taylor, and Elizabeth. Tracy was very active in cub scouts, boy scouts, and girl scouts with his children.

Baseball was a huge part of Tracy’s life. Going at least once a week to the Dell Diamond Stadium for baseball games in Round Rock, and enjoyed being sports announcer for Georgetown High School baseball games for many years. Also worthy of note, Tracy was an extra in several feature films, Friday Night Lights, Planet Terror, and Idiocracy.

After a long battle with many health issues Tracy died October 17th, 2020 at his family home in Georgetown Texas.

He is survived by his children, Steven Billingsley and his fiancé Angie, Taylor Billingsley and his fiancé Knoelle, and Elizabeth Saucedo, her husband Nicolas Saucedo, and granddaughter Estella Mae Saucedo, as well as his beloved dog, Vinny.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Elizabeth Ann Billingsley, and his dog Elvis.

To honor his life there will be a viewing on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 6:00 pm, at The Gabriels in Georgetown, TX and a graveside service at the I.O.O.F. on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the American Kidney Fund
