Justin Ryan Coumbe
March 9, 1982 - July 23, 2020

Justin Ryan Coumbe ’03 passed away suddenly on July 23, 2020 in Houston, Texas. Justin was born on March 9, 1982 at Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. He grew up as a naval dependent moving with his family across the United States to places like Newport, Rhode Island, Charleston, South Carolina, Key West, Florida, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and the island of Guam. Justin graduated from Gregory-Portland High School in 2000 where he excelled in the Texas State Mathematics League prior to attending Texas A&M University.

As an undergraduate, he lived in McInnis Hall on the Northside of campus. Justin graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information and Operations Management with Cum Laude honors. He continued his education at Texas A&M earning a Master of Science in Management Information Systems in 2004.

Justin is survived by his parents, Walter ’79 and Viki ’80 Coumbe of College Station, his sister, Jessica Coumbe Lane ’07 and her husband, Jerrod, of College Station, grandparents, Richard and Maurine Barrett of Albuquerque, New Mexico, aunts and uncles (Terry ’85 and Shavona Barrett of Weatherford, Texas, Emily and Elzear ’81 Lemieux of Kingsport, Tennessee, Donna and Robert ’80 Beckmann of Fredericksburg, Texas) and cousins (Jason B. Barrett ’09 and his wife, Kimberly ’09, Maegan Lynch, Matthew Lemieux, Jon Lemieux and his wife, Margot, Emily Berardi and her husband, Jeremy, Ashlyn Balog ’16 and her husband, Jake, and Allyson Beckmann ’19). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Ruth Coumbe.
