Steven Keith Allen
December 4, 1959 - August 24, 2020
Steven Keith Allen, a 30-year resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 60. He was born December 4, 1959, in Galveston, TX, to Robert Wood Allen and Maribeth (Rhodes) Allen. Steven grew up in south Garland and graduated from South Garland High School in 1978. He then went on to attend Texas A&M University in the Corp of Cadets and graduated in 1983. After graduating, he began his career in orthopedics. In 1990, he was married to Patty Pecena. Steve loved to hunt and fish and threw the best 4th of July parties. Known as “Papa” to his granddaughter, Zoe, he was a big man with a big heart and a large personality to match.
He is survived by his children: Sara Parker, Aaron Parker and wife Shauna, Rachael Foreman and husband Jeff, Robert Allen, and Matthew Allen; granddaughter: Zoe Parker (the favorite); mother: Maribeth Allen; 2 sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Patty Allen; and father: Dr. Robert Allen.
A private family Celebration of Life service will be held at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location with Travis Crenshaw officiating. A gathering will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
