H. Keith Foster
December 21, 1926 ~ October 11, 2020 (age 93)

H. Keith “Buddy” Foster, 93 of Garland Texas, passed away Sunday October 11, 2020.

Keith was born December 21, 1926 in Ben Franklin, Texas to Bloys and Eudora “Moore” Foster.

On January 3, 1947 he married Betty Brackeen in Cooper, Texas. They were married 73 years until her death on August 24 of this year. He was also preceded in death by his brothers; Joe and Ted and his sister Dorraine Foster Kussler.

Survivors include a son, Brad Foster and wife Lori of Dallas, daughter; Marsha Friedel and husband Don of Garland, five grandchildren; Justin Friedel and wife Valerie, Jennifer Knagg and husband Eric, Preston Friedel and wife Taylor, Hunter Foster and Laurel Foster as well as six great grandchildren.

Keith served in the United States Army during WWII as a paratrooper. He enjoyed flying so much he obtained his private pilot’s license while living in El Paso, Texas. Keith was a proud member of the Shriners Lodge # 1240 Delta.

Private family services were held at Delta Funeral Home interment at Oaklawn Cemetery following with Tom O’Neal officiating. Serving as pallbears, Brad Foster, Hunter Foster, Don Friedel, Justin Friedel, Preston Friedel and Eric Knagg.
