Robert J. “Rob” DuByne
March 14, 1969 - August 1, 2020

Rob DuByne, age 51, died unexpectedly at his home on August 1 in Wichita, KS.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2020, in the foyer of St. Jerome Catholic Church, followed by the Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m.

Rob was born in Bangkok, Thailand, to parents Marilyn and the late Bob DuByne. Rob's early years were spent in Asia, Illinois, and Toronto. His parents moved to Plano, TX, in 1983, where he attended Clark and Plano East Senior High Schools, and graduated in 1987. He also received his Boy Scout Eagle Badge in 1986. He received a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1991 from Texas A&M University. His career path took him to Huck Manufacturing, L-3 Communications, Boeing in Seattle, and Spirit Aero in Wichita, KS.

Rob leaves behind his mother, Marilyn; his sister, Lauretta; his two uncles, Jim DuByne, and Dick DuByne and his wife, Vivian, of Knoxville, TN; and his aunt, Bonnie Slattery of Lee's Summit, MO; and numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
