Albert Bernard Galle
NOVEMBER 21, 1939 – AUGUST 19, 2020

Albert Bernard "Bo" Galle was born November 21, 1939 in Houston, Texas, and passed away on August 19, 2020 in Conroe, Texas. Bo lived a full, active life and was a great athlete. He played baseball for many years, from little league through college. His pitching skills earned him a spot on the Texas A&M baseball team on which he was a member from 1959-1961. In 1959, Texas A&M won their very first Southwest Conference Championship. Bo always felt very proud to have been part of this special Aggie baseball team.

In 1961, Bo graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in engineering. After graduation, Bo married the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" Greenhaw, in 1963, and soon after they were blessed with their son, Beau Galle. After working in the family laundry business for several years, Bo began selling laundry equipment, including the design, building, and project management of large and heavy-duty laundry facilities. Another large part of Bo's life was showing dogs. Pat and Bo operated Galle Kennels for many years, traveling around the country showing dogs. Once retired from showing, Bo stayed active in the dog-show community and became an AKC Judge Emeritus.

Always an avid golfer, Bo and Pat eventually moved to a wonderful golf course community. For over twenty years, Bo enjoyed spending as much time as possible swinging clubs with his many friends and family who shared his love of golf. He was a member of the infamous Panorama Village Breakfast Club which met nearly every morning for breakfast and camaraderie before hitting the links. For all of his accomplishments, however, Bo is known most for his infectious smile, fun-loving spirit, and kind, sweet soul. He instantly livened up every room he entered with his contagious laugh and energy. New friends and family were easily drawn to Bo because of his natural ability to make everyone he met feel welcomed and loved.

Bo was preceded in death by his son, Beau Galle; his parents, Francis and Audrey Galle; and sister, Frances “Snooky” McMillian.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Galle; brother, Francis ”Bullet” and wife Gayle Galle; sisters, Patricia “Patsy” Vetrano, and Margaret Galle and Martha Campbell; brother-in-law Michael Greenhaw and wife Shirley; nieces and nephews Christopher Vetrano, Jennifer Vetrano, Scott Smith, Tyler Greenhaw, David McMillian, Rosie Hebert, Mike Hebert, Brian Galle, Kelli Galle, Christine Spano, Bubba Spano, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews; special friends, Sam Ruffino, Wes Kelley, John Coffman, Gayle Fletcher, Jesse Brawner, and many others.

For anyone wishing to honor Bo in a special way, please consider making a donation in his name and memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation https://www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/ , the American Lung Association https://www.lung.org/ , or any charitable organization of choice.
