Donald Mitchell Adkins
November 10, 1937 - July 14, 2020
Donald Mitchell Adkins, 82, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in Richmond. He was born November 10, 1937 in Morrow, Louisiana to John Mitchell Adkins and Dorothea C. Deshotel Adkins. Donald was a member of College Park Baptist Church in Houston.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Helen Faye Adkins, 2 children, Barry Adkins and wife Karla, Kathy Stauffacher, brother, Herbert W. Adkins, 4 grandchildren, Rebecca, Michelle, David II, Matthew, 6 great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Silas, Ethan, Evelyn, Lucas and Madison along with a host of other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sybil Dorman and son, David Adkins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Zane Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
