Billy Ray Schuette
APRIL 18, 1946 – AUGUST 2, 2020
Billy Ray Schuette, age 74, departed this life on Sunday, August 2, 2020, in Tyler, Texas.
His parents were the late Raymond and Lillie Beerwinkle Schuette. Billy grew up on a farm in the Moody-Leon community southwest of Moody, Texas.
He graduated from Moody High School and earned a B.S. degree in Agronomy from Texas A&M University. He also served in the United States Army.
For a time he worked in the field of agriculture, until his mental illness consumed the rest of his life. Billy Ray is survived by his sister, Dorothy S. Ohlendorf, her husband, George, and several cousins. Private burial will be at Moody-Leon Cemetery.
