Thomas Jack Uselton
February 20, 1991-July 16, 2020

Thomas was born in Englewood, CO on President’s day, February 20, 1991 and moved with his parents to Austin when he was 18 months old. He grew up in Lakeway and attended Lake Travis High School, where he excelled in academics, golf, and FFA. Thomas attended Texas A&M from 2009-2013 and also was selected to be in the Public Policy Internship through A&M and moved to Washington, DC for a semester to work for the State Department of Agriculture. He met the President, and many other politicians including Rick Perry who later invited him to come speak at the Governor’s breakfast about current events in Washington, DC concerning agriculture. Thomas was a proud member of the Fighting Aggie class of ‘13

Thomas married the love of his life and best friend, Heather Nicole Caton, on March 16, 2019. They met in college, served as Sunday School teachers together for the 2ndgraders at Prestonwood Baptist Church North in Prosper, TX. Thomas was also a leader in the Life Recovery group at his church. Thomas enjoyed going to South Africa and serving on Mission trips, he had completed two trips and he was planning to go back someday with Heather to do another trip to Coro Mandel, Limpopo province. Thomas was employed as a Program Manager for Sanmina Corporation in Carrollton, TX. He really enjoyed his job and his co-workers were his friends. He talked often of how great they were to him and how much he enjoyed working. He loved to go to Nocona and work on the ranch, hunt, fish and spend time with grandparents.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Heather Uselton, parents, Chris Lee and Jackie Uselton, sister and brother-in-law, Christen and Logan Manning, his great grandmother, Juanita Uselton Roberson, his grandparents, Linda Crabtree, Tom and Linda Uselton, cousins Robert and Rebecca Hetu, Linlee & Phil Klein, Gibson Lovett, Kalee, Keaton, and Kross Nickerson. He adored his one nephew, Thomas Everett Manning. Thomas was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Everett Crabtree.

Thomas loved Jesus, his family, and the great outdoors. In lieu of flowers, donations to Life Recovery Group at Prestonwood Baptist Church North, 1001 Prosper Trail, Prosper, TX 75078 in memory of Thomas Uselton is appreciated. www.prestonwood.org
