Douglas Ronald DeCluitt
February 9, 1935 - July 12, 2020

Class of 1957 with a degree in engineering. 

Mr. DeCluitt served on the Board of Regents 1983-1989 and served as Vice Chairman 1991-1993. 

While our family knew this day was coming and were prepared, you are still shocked when it arrives.

Most know that my father loved competitive sailing. So, let me put it this way:

Doug rounded the leeward mark and beat to weather. He finished the race with his sails properly trimmed on a firm starboard tack.

Don’t worry Daddy, me and Sherri will take the tiller from here.
