Mr. Dwight S. Jones '78
May 15, 1956 - June 19, 2020

JONES, Dwight Stanley Dwight Stanley Jones, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away June 19, 2020, at his home at the age of 64.

He was born May 15, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Paul and Barbara Jones. Dwight graduated in 1974 from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, Texas, attended Eastfield College before transferring to Texas A&M University and graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1978.

He married KC in 1980 and they would have celebrated their 40th anniversary September 6. He loved his annual family vacations to Disneyworld and Sanibel Island, Florida.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, brother Keith Jones, and brother-in-law Myron Blanchett.

He is survived by wife, KC; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Chris Gugino; and son Paul Jones; sister, Karen Blanchett, sister Carol Barlow and husband, Michael; nephew, Russell Blanchett, niece, Lisa Helm and husband, Jonathan, and their girls, Katelyn, Kaylee and Kelsey. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Diane Ekiss and husband, Pat; brother-in-law Ron Knight and wife, Kathy; brother-in-law Randy Knight and wife, Kimm, and lots of extended family and friends, especially his life-long best friend, Keith Duran, and wife, Debbie.

Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic, no service will be held.
