Joseph "Joe" Phillips '72 June 17, 2020 2:59 PM updated: June 17, 2020 3:04 PM

Joseph Clifford Phillips
JULY 20, 1950 – JUNE 4, 2020

Joe Phillips passed away suddenly in his home on June 4, 2020. A father, a sailor, a grandad, an uncle, a race car enthusiast, an inventor, a businessman, a son, the loudest and proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ‘72, a friend, a pilot, a husband, a man of the world, a rodeo man - we knew him by a million names and interests throughout his full and adventurous life.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Mary, and his daughter, Jennie. Joe is survived by his wife, Sharon; his daughter, Sarah, her husband, Jason, and their children, Emma and Johnny; his granddaughter, Taylor, and her husband, Zach; and siblings Fred and his wife Theresa; Priscilla; and Tina and her husband George; and many loved nieces, nephews and friends. Due to his wishes, the family hosted a private celebration of life for family and close friends.
