Jack Lloyd Wade
September 27, 1959 - May 18, 2020

Jack Lloyd Wade was born on September 27, 1959 in Georgetown, Texas to Weldon and Christa Wade. He passed away on May 18, 2020 after a long illness. Graveside services will be held at the IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2020.

After graduating from Georgetown High School, Jack attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Business Management. He was raised an Aggie and was proud to be a second generation Aggie. He wore his Aggie ring proudly. He held various retail management positions at several different retail stores throughout his career.

Jack enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephew. He also enjoyed playing 42 and regularly participated in the family’s weekly 42 game. Jack was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying watching the Aggies. At A&M, he attended all kinds of sporting events and even coached his dorm’s intramural basketball team one semester.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Christa Rath Wade.

He is survived by his father, James Weldon Wade; his sister, Janice Babbitt and her husband Bruce; his sister, Patricia Gutierrez and her husband Eduardo; his nieces: Alyssa Hill and her husband George, Kristen Babbitt, and Adriana Gutierrez; and his nephew, Benjamin Gutierrez.
