Mr. Johnny Lawton Goforth
JANUARY 12, 1928 – FEBRUARY 26, 2020

Johnny Lawton Goforth was born on January 12, 1928 in Overton, Texas to parents, John Newton Goforth and Lou Emma Beasley Goforth. Johnny enjoyed doing projects and working with his hands. He built his own house and did wood working as well as built furniture for his children. He worked cattle, enjoyed fishing, and stock car racing. Johnny will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Paul, Richard, and Ralph Goforth.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Dolores Goforth of Mabank, Texas, daughters; Roseanna James and husband Steve of Lake Charles, La, Kathy Birket of Mabank, Tx, Tammy Rinehart and husband Shane of Mabank, Tx. grandchildren; Katey Crackel and husband Brandon of Houston, Tx, Kelley Strom and husband Brad of Memphis, Tx, Stephanie Thayer of Dallas, Tx, Michael Tudor and wife Nicole of Crandall, Tx, Amy Garrett of Kaufman, Tx, Kimberly Pritchard and husband James of Forney, Tx, and Stephen Tudor of Forney, Tx, 17 great grandchildren and many more family members and life long friends.
