John was born April 26, 1958, in the West Texas town of Brownfield to William Kyle and Pauline Kee Adams. John valued and cared for his BP family. The love and support they provided throughout his battle with cancer is greatly appreciated by John’s family. John was known for his strong work ethic and friendly character. John’s faith was defining for him, guiding his philosophy of never missing an opportunity to be kind. He attended Crosspoint Community Church for 20 years. John enjoyed spending time with family, canoeing, boating, collecting fossils and blasting Buddy Holly music from his red Jeep Wrangler. John loved hearing other people’s stories. Like his father, Kyle Adams, John never met a stranger and was appreciated for his friendly attitude.
