Aaron was a dedicated son who came home every summer to help his father with the harvest and was a beloved protective brother and uncle. He loved his animals and gave all his cows unique names. Aaron was in high school band and practiced his saxophone out on the back porch while his dog howled along. His friend Allan Wehe conveyed that his friends remember him as a kind person. He was a man of integrity, hard work, and action and didn't stand around bs-ing. He excelled in problem-solving. Aaron was a quiet man, but once you got to know him, you were fortunate to experience his humor and honesty, and he always expressed his concern for others. He was especially proud of his son, Ryan, and one of his joys was watching his son play sports. Aaron and Arlene spent many memorable hours together on home projects. His hobbies included restoring a 1966 GMC truck, learning Spanish, watching history and war films, and listening to his favorite music, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, and Guy Clark. He was proud of his fruit trees and enjoyed working in the soil.

He will be greatly missed by all who loved him and considered him a friend.

The family of Aaron extends their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all those who have reached out to us during our time of loss.

The family will be holding a private ceremony.
