Jack Redding '63

Granbury- Jack D. Redding, 78, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 1, 2020, and is celebrating in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Jack was born February 13, 1941, to Jack L. and Eula Mae McGill Redding in Tyler, Texas.
He was preceded in death by both his mother and father.
Immediately following graduation from Texas A&M in 1964, with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Jack began a long and successful career with then Texas Electric Service Company in West Texas. From there, he progressed along the management track taking on
various mid- and upper-management roles. In 1990, Jack was promoted to Director of Procurement Services, and subsequently elected Vice Present Procurement Services in 1994. Jack was a loyal employee who retired in 1999 after 35 years of dedicated service.
Survivors: Daughters, Kimberly Redding of Fort Worth and Kathryn Redding McKee (Aaron) of Arizona; sons, Kyle Redding (Tracy) of Wichita Falls, Kirk Redding of Dallas, and Christopher Redding of Fort Worth; sister, Carolyn Trimmier of Granbury; brother, James
Robert (Bob) Redding (Karen) of McKinney. Jack was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving and faithful companion, Libby Smith.
