Bobby Dale Bostick
June 15, 1935 - January 9, 2020

Bob Bostick passed peacefully on January 9, 2020 in San Antonio with his family by his side. He was 84 years old.

Bob was an incredibly kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather, with a gentle manner and an easy smile. We will miss him very much.

Bob was born in Lingleville, Texas on June 15, 1935. He graduated from Lingleville High School in 1953 and attended Texas A&M University, where he served in the Corps of Cadets, earning his bachelor’s degree in agricultural education in 1957. He served in the United States Army before working for over 60 years in agricultural sales. He married Anne Roberson in 1957. They were married 62 years at the time of his death. They had two daughters, three granddaughters, and two grandsons.

Bob is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anne Roberson Bostick, his daughters, Lisa Anne Huntze Srygley (Katy, TX) and Laura Leigh Bostick (Ruston, LA), and his grandchildren: Jordan Elizabeth Huntze Walker (Memphis, TN), Ryan Louis Huntze (Texarkana, TX), Rachel Anne Huntze (Conway, AR), and Lindsay Brooke Adair (Ruston, LA). He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Sercy Bostick and Thelma Jacqueline Williamson Bostick, his brother, Sercy Ray Bostick, and his grandson, Jack David Huntze.

In lieu of a memorial service, the family is planning a private celebration of Bob's life this summer on the beach at Port Aransas where he and Anne celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The family thanks you for your love and support during this difficult time. If desired, please sign the guest book and/or leave a memorial contribution at Bob's memorial page on the Alzheimer's Association website at: http://act.alz.org/goto/bob_bostick
