Judson Pritcher Germany, Jr.
October 30, 1929 - January 16, 2020

Judson P. Germany, Jr., 90, of Fort Worth passed away on January 16, 2020.

Judd was born on October 30, 1929 to Judd and Ruth Germany in Fort Worth. After graduating from Arlington Heights High School at the age of 16, he went on to study horticulture at Texas A&M. He was a proud member of the Corp of Cadets and a graduate of the Class of 1950.

Upon graduation, Judd had a brief tour with the U.S. Army and returned to Fort Worth where he started Germany's Nursery and Landscape Co. For many years, he landscaped homes and businesses in the metroplex. Later he became a wholesale grower, supplying nurseries with quality ground covers. He was an active member of the Propagator's Association for many years.

A lover of people, Judd was involved most of his life in community organizations. He was part of the Fort Worth Bird Club, the 20-30 Club, was a charter member of the Sunrise Optimist Club, served as a Boy Scout troop leader, and was a life-time member of the Texas Millionaires Chorus.
For many years, he and his family attended University Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was a charter member of Agape Baptist Church where he again served as a SUnday School teacher and a deacon. His love for singing was evident as he was a church choir member. One of his greatest passions was helping others and he taught ESL every Tuesday at Agape. He enjoyed making peanut brittle for friends and family and it was a long-standing tradition every Christmas.

Judd was preceded in death by his parents, Judd and Ruth Germany as well as his oldest son, Judd Germany III.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Beverly Sharp Germany; daughter, Karen Bozeman and husband, Kirby; son, Bill Germany and wife, Jayne; granddaughter, Jessica Underwood and husband, Joey; grandson, Ian Germany and wife, Allyson; grandson, Kirk Bozeman; granddaughter, Kimberly Bozeman; and granddaughter, Madlyn Germany.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
