MAY 6, 1968 – JANUARY 9, 2020
odd W. Carroll, age 51 of Cypress, Texas, entered into rest January 9, 2020. Beloved husband of Amy A. Carroll; devoted father of Aidan and Tyler; loving son of Barbara Carroll and the late Ralph C. Carroll; cherished brother of Stephen (Eugenia) Carroll; also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Todd was born in Houston, TX, earned his first undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, College Station and a second at the University of Houston. He lived his life honestly, ethically, inclusively, spiritually, humorously, inquisitively and adventurously with abundant and unquestionable love for his family and friends. His love of the outdoors facilitated many cherished memories camping, hunting, fishing, hiking and swimming and instilled a love of the outdoors in his two boys. Our adventure on earth with him was cut much shorter than any hoped for but he will forever be remembered for touching the hearts of so many and his huge contribution to making the world a better place.
Relatives and friends may join the family for a celebration of life, with visitation and reception to follow, on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 6:00 pm at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial and honor contribution in Todd’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate/memorial-giving.html
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to our Cypress Community, Hospice Plus and to the Methodist Hospital staff at the Sugarland, Willowbrook and Cypress locations.
