Numsen Moore Hail
Mr. Numsen Moore Hail, age 81, of Crockett died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in a car accident. Numsen was born October 19, 1932 in Crockett to Dorothy McLean and Wilson Ewing Hail. Mr. Hail was a graduate of Sam Houston State University and attended Texas A&M University.
He served in the US Army in Japan during the Korean War. He had a long career at Lufkin Conroe Telephone Exchange retiring in 1998 as Vice President. Over the years he resided in the Lufkin area, Conroe, and Port Aransas, returning 10 years ago to Crockett
to live in his family home. Mr. Hail was a devoted father, husband, friend to many, active in his community, and a member of First United Methodist Church in Crockett. He is survived by his loving wife Fran Hail; children, Numsen M. Hail, Jr. of Houston, Robbie
Hail Grzymek of San Antonio, Charles Thomas Nichol, Jr. of Round Rock; Grandson, Charles Thomas Nichol III; brothers, Phillip Hail and Sandra of Heath, George Hail of Fredericksburg; sisters, Nancy Voss and Carroll of Cumming, Georgia, Dorothy Sue McCarron,
of Sterling, Virginia; brother-in-law, Robert Amsler and Julie of Catlett, Virginia; and sister-in-law, Martha McGlynn and John of Madison, Alabama; aunt and uncle Mary Louise McLean Smith and Douglas of Houston, Texas; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial
services for Mr. Numsen Moore Hail will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Patrick Evans and Pastor Rob Amsler officiating. A reception will follow at the church after the service. In lieu of flowers,
the family requests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church Crockett, 701 East Goliad Avenue, Crockett, Texas 75835. Callaway Allee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.callawayallee.com.
