1957 - 2020
HAINES, Michael Krist Michael Krist Haines, born July 17, 1957, passed away suddenly on January 1, 2020. He was a graduate of Hillcrest High School ('75), Texas A&M ('79) and SMU Law School ('82). Mike spent a lifetime helping others, but above all else he was a dedicated and loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He was a best friend to many and both brought and kept people together. His ability to foster friendships may be what we will miss the most. His wife and daughters were the lights of his life and provided him the joy that he spread to so many. He is survived by his wife Lisa Barnett Haines and their two daughters Katie Eason (Daren) and Lauren Tenbarge (Barrett), and his brother Edward Terrell Haines, Jr. (Cumalee) and their children, and sister Patricia Haines. He was predeceased by his parents Edward Terrell Haines and Elaine Krist Haines. A celebration of his life will be held at University Park United Methodist Church Monday January 6, 2020 at 1:00.
