DR. MICHAEL HAIDUK
January 31, 1954, December 12, 2019
Dr. Michael Wayne Haiduk, 65, of Beaumont, died on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Christus Hospital – St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born to Joyce Lee Duffy and Adrian Florian Haiduk, on January 31, 1954, in Amarillo. Dr. Haiduk had been a professor of Biology at Lamar University since 1983.
Survivors include his sons, Nathan Haiduk, of Silsbee and Travis Haiduk, of Beaumont; mother, Joyce Haiduk, of Amarillo; sisters, Carla Knupp, of Montgomery, Vicki Haiduk, of Richardson, and Robin Haiduk, of Amarillo; niece, Rachel Interiano, of Tomball; and great-nieces and nephews, Caleb, Hannah, Arabella, and Joshua Cook-Norris, and Eden Interiano.
A gathering of Dr. Haiduk’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private committal was held under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
