Mr. Eugene Decker Manly passed away at his home on November 24, 2019 the age of 93.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Manly and several surviving nephews and nieces.
Gene was born in 1926 .
Gene was an avid Aggie with a plaque with many yearly contribution medallions hanging on the wall in his home.
Gene worked a career in oil & gas as a geologist with both domestic and overseas assignments in Japan and Indonesia. His wife Barbara was also a geologist.
A service for Gene will be held tomorrow [December 4, 2019] at 2 pm at the Main Cathedral and gathering in the Mellinger room,. At Christ Church Cathedral located at 1117 Texas Ave, Houston, TX 77002.
I know that Gene loved the honor of graduating from Texas A&M and of being affiliated with it for his entire adult life.
