Meagan Dawn Hooker
Sunday, November 12th, 1995 - Thursday, November 7th, 2019
Meagan Dawn Hooker, age 23, of Italy, Texas left behind so many who loved her on November 7, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Dallas, Texas on November 12, 1995 to her parents who adored her. Meagan graduated high school from Italy, Texas as the
Salutatorian in 2013 and graduated college from Texas A&M University, with a Bachelors degree in Agriculture Communications and Journalism and a minor in psychology. After graduating college, she went on to pursue a career at Lytle High School in 2018 as an
Agriculture Science teacher. She loved hunting, fishing, spending time with her family, and leading hunts through the Texas Youth Hunting Program. She enjoyed the FFA Livestock shows and loved taking her students to compete in shows and events. Meagan spent
the last years of her life with her boyfriend, Hayes Reddoch, and her fur baby, Oliver Gene who was her whole entire life. Meagan always had a positive attitude and wanted to be known for her accomplishments that she had made in her life and not by her illness.
She had a deep love for the Lord, and it showed in the way she loved and cared for others. She had so much love and admiration for her family, especially her sisters, Amber and Kimberly. Meagan touched so many in her 23 years on this earth and will be deeply
missed and forever remembered. It gives her family great comfort knowing that she is looking down on them with her beautiful and infectious smile.
Meagan is survived by her loving momma and daddy, Andrea and Jerry Hooker of Italy; sisters, Amber Hooker and Kimberly Hooker; aunt, Kim Epps and husband Scott, their daughter, Olivia; uncle, Ronnie Petter and his son, Joey Petter and wife Morgan; uncle, Greg
Hooker and his children, Kayla Strain and husband Brody, Lainey Hooker, Kiefer Hooker; aunt, Sherry Hunter and her daughter, Alta Hunter; grandparents, Donna and Dennis Adair; and grandmother, Barbara Hooker.
She is reunited in Heaven with her grandfathers, Ben Petter and Jerry Hooker.
